The Golic Subpar Classic is shaking things up as we shake down the thunder!
We are thrilled to announce the 5th Annual SubPar Classic presented by Credit Union 1 will be taking place during Notre Dame Football’s hosted Legacy Weekend, April 24 - 25, 2026. Join us, alongside hundreds of former football players making their way to campus, for a weekend of fun, friends, fellowship, and football.
The event’s mission remains the same: to provide a one of a kind first-class hospitality experience for our sponsored guests while raising money to support the charitable organizations of South Bend, a place that will always be home to our family. Proceeds of the Subpar Classic will be donated directly to the following five beneficiaries:

5th Annual Golic Subpar Celebrity Classic
The Warren Golf Course
Friday, April 24, 2026Sponsors will be teamed up with ND legends and other celebrity guests for a round of golf on the Warren Golf Course for a chance to earn bragging rights of the annual SubPar Celebrity Golf Classic. Food, entertainment, and hospitality will placed throughout the course for guests to enjoy the memorable day.

The Golic Family Gameday Tailgate
University of Notre Dame
Saturday, April 25, 2026Join the Golic Family for a traditional Gameday Tailgate to kick off the day’s activities on campus. Guests of the Subpar Classic are welcomed to fuel up with the family before heading to Arlotta Stadium for the ND vs. Syracuse Men’s Lacrosse matchup, followed by the annual Blue-Gold Spring Game at ND Stadium!

Saturday, April 25, 2026Guests arriving into town will join the Golic Family to kick off the weekend at the SubPar Welcome Party. This private event provides guests to enjoy first class hospitality, music & entertainment, the ability to bid on priceless auction items, and mingle the biggest ND legends, athletes, and celebrities.

Meet The Hosts
There is no denying our Golic Family roots run deep at the University of Notre Dame. The countless moments and milestones we’ve experienced on campus, both individually and as a family, have played such a large role in our family’s story. When the idea of creating this event was first discussed, we all knew there was only one place to host it. South Bend will always be considered home. We feel strongly about giving back to the community that helped shape each of us by helping a few of the local organizations that remain close to our hearts.
